it's where he goes.

there could be 3 different conversations going on around him.

he doesn't hear them.

he checks out.

to his own story.

the one that is constantly playing in his head.

the cast of characters might change.

the location may differ.

the story line...

endless.

9 times out of 10,

if you get his attention and he says

what?

he isn't being disrespectful,

he really has no idea what you said.

the what if

and do you think questions that come from there are creative and thought provoking.

he never shares what he is thinking about,

but it is good enough to keep him coming back.

 

 

 

it really isn't that bad.

in fact when he looks straight at you, you hardly notice it.

it is just the way the hematoma dissipated.

he pokes at.

rubs at it.

squeezes his eyes closed when someone asks him what happened.

he says he got a boo at lunch.

but i alright

it will be better in a few days

then he shrugs it off and chases a brother.

or screams bloody murder at another.

hasn't slowed him down a bit.

they have been listening to their bigs sing billionaire for a month now.

they know the words to the chorus.

they know the words to the rap.

they grab the microphone and belt it out when the bigs need a break.

i don't know what they were planning with those sticks...

but the bigs might want to watch their backs.

talent show is friday night.

the last time i saw them practice,

charlie needed stitches.

luckily,

the other mom in the group is awesome at teaching the kids the words.

they spent all sunday afternoon rehearsing.

today was the first time i heard them.

they were great.

i was put in charge of "flair".

we'll see how it goes.

we almost got out of the rehearsal incident free,

sam choked on an apple in the first 5 minutes.

after that...
