charlie made connor a power point for his birthday card.
when i asked them to make connor a card...
i assumed he would use paper and markers like his brothers.
sam took about 30 minutes on his.
decorated with rocks and mazes.
nicklaus created his birthday balloons and candles card.
personalized with a gators.
charlie's was interactive..
including pictures of him and connor.
each uniquely their own.

started with connor's friend party.
clues to the destination.
putt putt.
ci ci's.
his favorite people.
success.

home in time for michael's.
pool party with the hoodlums.
dinner with the families.
great homemade desserts.
boys crashed by 8:15.
partied out.

the day started with a not-so-scary costume parade.
he still played the part.
cape out.
flying around the parade.

add a little makeup...
full on sampire.
his mission for the night....
collecting almond boys for daddy.

nicklaus was thrilled when the neighbors guessed he was the hulk.
when he growled it clued them in.
when he smiled it was hard not to guess jolly green giant.
he collected all the reeces cups for grandpa.

big wanted to be a light switch.
the trick...
it had to move up and down.
he didn't care if it lit anything...
just wanted it to function.
done.
he loved it when the neighbors asked what he was.
got tickled when they commented how creative it was.
i am sure he was the only one they saw all night.

pumpkin carving tonight.
suppose to happen at 6:00 , read perfect outdoor lighting.
took place at 8:00, read awful indoor lighting.
reason?
locked my camera and keys in tom's car.
he went to office for spare...
grabbed the wrong one.
back to the office.
hungry kids.
hence the 8:00 carving.
nicklaus was all about de-gutting his own.
turned down help until the carving.

charlie, once again, over ambitious on the size of his pumpkin, needed help for the final clean up.
wielded his own carving knife this year.

sam wanted nothing to do with the guts.
completely grossed out.
very happy with the end result.
