he finally gave into the nap.

up to 10 the last 2 nights.

no naps either day.

the car had to be completely quiet.

it took him about 15 minutes to fade out.

of course i needed gas after he was asleep for only 15 minutes.

he rested for an hour total.

better than nothing.

fever broke today.

finally ate a few bites for dinner.

dropped big off at florida bible camp.

nuke 'em,

cards,

ate dinner,

went to devo,

then off to bed.

we, on the other hand, got to drive in the rain for 5 1/2 hours.

driving to see aunt beth and the boys.

played every sport with nicklaus on the wii.

taught charlie how to make the perfect panini.

tickled sam relentlessly.

kept them up way too long after i had tucked them in.

avery's 8th today.

big blow out at sun~n~fun.

break in the rain for the first 1 1/2 hours.

rain came in just as it was time for pizza, cake and presents.

stopped again for a few more runs on the giganitc water slide.

bunch of crazy 8s at the party.

so glad we got to hang with our peeps one more time before we start the northward trek tomorrow.
