this could very well be the happiest day ever for pickle.

his name was entered into a drawing @ school.

it was pulled out of a hat on the school news broadcast.

he called me @ home to tell me.

he was so excited he couldn't even get the words out.

he said he kept saying over and over again, "they won't call my name. they won't call my name."

then they did.

his teacher said he was so excited he got tears in his eyes.

in the last 10 weeks he has gone from the deprived 6 year old to having a

nano,

dsi,

& now an itouch.

happiest 7 year old evah!

zoned out.

watching a show on the ipad.

sitting on the stairs.

absent mindedly rubbing his head on the step.

the carpeted step.

gave himself a doozy of a rug burn.

on scar patrol.

keeping it sun screened.

it says for ages 8 and up.

he has been playing it since i taught him yesterday afternoon.

counts the dots to add up the die.

flips down the tiles.

his best game yet...

4 standing.

today pickle mastered putting a minnow on the hook.

they were out on the dock all day.

small fish need not apply.

 

 

getting crafty today.

they could only use paint & their fingers.

the littles were on board.

big needed some coaxing...

not a big dirty hands guy.

he ended up doing his name.

little painted three pictures.

middle took his time and did two.

creative time...

minimal cleanup.
