he told chaw yee that he really enjoyed his show.

unprompted.

unsolicited.

he might not get all the words right...

picnic therapy

DSC_3426

i should start out this post by letting you know that we don't always have picnic lunches in the backyard.

even though we live in a state that we could totally picnic outside almost everyday...we don't.

so when i asked sam if he would like to have a picnic with me, he was over the moon.

we made bunny shaped sandwiches, packed yogurt, and goldfish in our basket and walked all the way to the backyard.

i needed to get away for a little bit today.

tons of laundry to put away.

lots of commitments that needed my attention.

i was feeling overwhelmed and needed to step back.

i cannot get into my craft room right now...shocker, i know.

so i grabbed my camera and my oh so cute subject.

the perfect natural lighting on the play set picnic table.

he was happy being with me.

the feeling was mutual.

a subject willing to let me play with my camera settings and exposures wa
