all the cards for their classmates and teachers are done.

i think they get more excited about the valentine's day class party than christmas.

they only give gifts to their teachers at christmas.

tomorrow they get to give to their friends.

i am sure the receiving of some sugary treats might have something to do with it, too.

 

 

so much better than last year.

not because this year the first pitch of the season was flown in by helicopter,

or because it was thrown out by a major league player who grew up on our fields,

or because we saw all of our best friends,

or because we got to climb a rock wall,

or because we got unlimited use of all of the coolest bounce houses in town,

or because we got free keva juice.

no, it is because this year it was 75 degrees instead of 40

and our brothers got to come,

and we got to do all of the cool things mentioned above...

instead of hurrying home to thaw out.

i guess it was more of a demand.

he usually pulls away or throws a fit if anyone tries to assist him.

this one opened up less than a mile from our house.

30 minutes and $23 later...

10 pounds of strawberries.

nicklaus made it into a sport hurdling the rows.

sam wanted his picture taken with everyone he picked.

ash was on the hunt for the biggest and reddest.

charlie missed the fun...

but we will be back.

beautiful day for some berry picking.

mrs. hansen, she's a vet, brought animal x-rays tonight to the science expo.

she would give backgound info on the animal then the kids would make the diagnosis.

a dog was brought in for getting sick

the boys spotted at least 5 golf balls in it's stomach.

a cat was brought in with a fat belly...

charlie spotted the babies.

another dog with a cattywhampus leg...

sam guessed it was broken.
