telling jokes.

hanging with your people.

looking out for the little.

listening to music.

loving an unscheduled afternoon.

 

this morning before school.

daylight coming in the window.

lights on throughout the house.

perfect time to wear night vision goggles while reading.

heard him from the kitchen.

he was in there a good 10 minutes.

belting out his favorites.

making up new ones.

meowing.

who doesn't sound good in the shower?

we played football..catch & running passes.

tether ball...jump & smash.

basketball...free throws & creative layouts.

all while he practiced his hawk calls to the solo observer on the chimney.

he is pretty good at all of the above.

surprisingly at the hawk call.

when we finished playing...

we had an audience of two.

 

he put it in his oven.

made it really hot.

would check on it occasionally.

poured him and ashley an ice cold drink while waiting for it to cook.

until i came out.

then he got a chair and sat next to ashley.

told me to cook the turkey for him...

and to make sure it was nice and hot.

turkey!
