i am away from my boys for a few days so thought i would go back to the days before i got my blog up and post some of those photos.

happy 7th birthday, pickle!

he wasn't sure how to slide.

so he would just run.

until charlie came home and demonstrated.

then they all joined in the "fun".

we went to upyonda farms today.

it has a nature museum and easy trails for the kids to walk on.

sam loved this little bear table in the museum.

the first thing he did was pull up a chair and start coloring.

i have loved this table since charlie could sit at it comfortably and color.

it is nothing fancy.

just shaped plywood painted to look like a bear face.

simple.

cute.

cub sized.

 

 

 

 

today was the last day for nicklaus' baseball camp.

damon got to come the last 3 days.

they had a blast.

today for fun the coach had them practice pop flies with water balloons.
they were each others cheerleader.

if they caught their balloon without it busting...

they could throw it back at the coach.

each pop fly was live or die...

or so nicklaus thought

as you can tell from his expressions.

pizza on his face,

root beer on his lips,

intently listening to charlie

trying to figure out if his big is telling the truth or tricking him.

2 silly seven year olds

chasing tom around the yard

until someone surrenders.

guess who i had my money on.
