still too little to ride by himself.

wasn't about to be left out though.

he put himself into the rotation.

first with ash.

then with lauren.

he kept yelling faster.

so it begins.

 

little is so ready for preschool.

he has been waiting for 2 weeks to meet his teacher.

he walked ahead of us to the sanctuary.

sat in his own pew for the introductions.

informed us that we could go in to see the color of his room,

give him a hug and a kiss,

then had to leave and come back to get him later.

it was a meet and greet night.

we explored all of the rooms.

met mrs. christian.

played outside a bit.

the only way he would leave?

i promised he could come back in 6 sleeps.

 

 

 

 

 

 we went to airheads today for connor's birthday.

they had an hour to jump on 10,000 sq. ft of trampolines.

they thought it wouldn't be enough time.

after 18 minutes they were all red faced and resting...

except for this one.

he came over twice to tell me he was tired.

as soon as the words were out of his month,

he was back on the tramps jumping.

up the walls, doing flips, pegging people with balls.

he jumped the entire hour.

i always thought he was part t i double g er.

 settling in for movie night.

a freshly shaved head.

a boy who loves stubble.

a dad who loves a head massage.

win win.

santa brought them plasma cars for christmas.

they never made it outside.

the boys do laps from tom's office, through the living room, around the kitchen island and back down the long hallway.

they "cheat" by pushing off with their feet instead of running them off of inertia.

sometimes i call them on it...

others, i just let them go.

their maneuvering techniques around the kitchen table, corners, and people is noteworthy to say the least.

lesson learned...

when you hear ba dum, ba dum, ba dum comin' up real fast behind you just freeze and enjoy the breeze.
