&

 unknotted the bathrobe tie nicklaus had tightly knotted around is neck. 

it was meant to be a ninja headband...

of course.

 

today big turned 12.

cinnamon roll waffles for breakfast.

surprise donut delivery during his lunch.

the rest of the celebrations will be this week.

wednesdays are crazy for us.

he opted for his family dinner and cake on saturday...

so we weren't rushed.

middle school homework doesn't know wednesdays are bad for us.

major placement test this week...

so a study night on his birthday.

12 seems to also bring maturity.

 

sam's reaction to hearing the baby's heartbeat today.

he wanted to know if we were going to take anymore pictures.

he would've loved that.

he swears he heard her crying.

i assured him the baby was comfy cozy.

mrs. weber.

ready to see his friends.

excited to earn 100 ar points.

earns a day where he makes the rules in class.

proud of himself for only calling out twice today.

walked right into his day.

play by play from each class when he came out.

excited about each of his teachers.

looking forward to his tech elective.

a little nervous about math...

he teacher talks fast.

knows at least one person in each class.

glad he gets to have lunch with his people.

off to a good start.

pickle first this morning before church.

loading up his pencil box with all of the third grade basics.

back pack stuffed to the gills with middle school supplies.

been practicing his p.e. lock for two days.

3 successful tries out of 10.

will probably come home in his gym clothes tomorrow.

can't be good at everything.
