quiet afternoon.

two of the boys down fishing,

friendly game of jenga ensued.

sam was fearless.

charlie's expressions to sam's fearlessness...

entertaining.

 

 

 

he talked non stop about his week at church camp.

they said his name non stop vying for his attention.

tom's favorites for dinner.

father's day fondue for dessert.

everyone together.

noisy.

nice.

total fish caught today.

when he hit 8...

he went for 10.

when he caught 10,

there was still some worm on his hook...

he went for 12.

mission accomplished.

went for a swim.

decided out of boredom to drop the hook one more time.

caught the biggest bass of the day.

lucky.

insisted all morning to go to the sag.

as soon as we got settled, he wanted his jacket.

he promptly walked to the other side of the dock & jumped in.

it all happened so fast...

i didn't have my camera ready.

i asked if he would do it again for me.

he happily obliged.

he talked about them the whole ride today.

3 more hours until i can catch a newt.

2 1/2 hours before i can go looking.

ya know i am an expert newt hunter.

after we unloaded the van it took him all of 6 minutes to find one.

didn't think he would have much luck today because it was sunny and 77.

guess he has a knack for finding newts.
