he left his seat at the kitchen table to do his homework on the floor.

he was 6 feet away from where i was folding laundry.

he could see me through the glass sliders.

we could carry on a conversation without raising our voices to be heard.

he just doesn't like to be alone.

afraid he is missing something?

afraid he will be left out on some big discussion?

afraid he will miss a joke or excitement?

i haven't figured it out yet.

but i am sure when i do...

he will be sitting right next to me.

a perfect night to cap it off.

we bought a zoo.

home in time for the ball to drop.

sam was sad he couldn't watch the game.

he kept asking if it was a basketball or football they were dropping...

guess we didn't explain that one too well to him.

after we welcomed in 2012...

we serenaded nicklaus for his birthday.

excited to see what next year will bring!

today was his first time.

he didn't fall down once where he didn't look up at me and laugh.

he skated the entire 3 1/2 hours of the party...

except for the chicken dance and hokey pokey.

didn't even stop for cake.

he is going to be one giant bruise tomorrow.

stardust has made it into the top three locations for his birthday party.

the suspense is palpable.

 

grandpa charged up the "broken" golf cart.

sam has been practicing.

he is about ready to ram me.
