didn't notice his limp until the car wash

(what is it about the car wash?)

we had already been up for 2 hours,

walked the boys into school,

and played a round of putt putt.

checked out his foot...

3 ant bites.

he has no recollection of getting them.

the foot kept getting puffier through out the day.

he never complained about it.

tonight his little toes are red sausages.

his foot is pink and giving off some heat.

a shot of benedryll should do the trick.

poor third child.

 

5 kids.

1 empty box.

endless amount of fun...

guaranteed.

days until i am looking at my favorite view out of my windshield...

instead of my rear view mirror.

we made cookies for all of our chic's friends at the sagamore,

we jumped in the lake,

we caught a pumpkin seed,

we spent the day on the banana boat with bobby,

we fell asleep in the big chair after a full and exciting summer day,

with a little sun on our cheeks,

and mountain air in our lungs...

one last time

last day of arts and crafts.

last day of swim lessons.

last day of acting like monkeys at veteran's park.

one more day.

breathing deep...

taking it all in.
