it was chilly today.

hi in the lo 60's.

tonight in the 40's,

they have been enjoying the cool weather outside during the day.

but i think they like this best.

cuddled together on the couch,

squeaky clean after baths,

wrapped up in their blankets,

enjoying an episode of phineas and ferb before bed.

 

he wanted to put on the apron i got for my anniversary.

as soon as he did, tom said it looked like a dress.

sure enough.

today was the last day of school, baby!

every year we have a water slide, pizza, & Popsicles to celebrate.

this year we mixed it up and had an inflatable slip 'n slide as well.

the boys invite their classmates, our neighbors, & those near and dear.

this is the shot that made me walk away from the slide.

water is not a camera's friend...

no matter how cool the photo is.

sam was convinced the party was for him, why wouldn't he.

charlie had a sock hop at school from 1-3 then the party from 4-7.

boys in bed by 8:30.

ahhhh, summertime.

 

 

he can be competitive.

not in sports.

anything intellectual.

this is bible bowl practice at church.

everyone is smiling and relaxed.

not charlie.

his team is behind 1 point.

it is live or die.

they lost.

it was ugly.

nothing a dinner with friends and a bowl of ice cream couldn't remedy.
